Emulator for petrol gauge allows the engine to work properly even on vehicles equipped with a programme for calculating petrol consumption. During throttle operation, the fuel gauge emulator prevents the MIL indicator from lighting up and the pretended fault memory in the fuel control unit, even if there is a decrease on the fuel gauge. At each start, the device sets the real value of the fuel level indicator.
