The Tomasetto multivalve AT02 LPG is homologated according to European standard ECE 67R-01. It fulfils important technical and safety-relevant functions when operating vehicles on LPG.
The Tomasetto multivalve AT02 model has an overpressure and overflow valve that releases the LPG fuel in a controlled manner if the internal pressure in the LPG tank is too high in order to prevent the tank from bursting. An integrated solenoid valve opens and closes the LPG valve only when voltage is applied in the operating mode of the LPG kit. The 80% fill stop valve and an integrated non-return valve prevent the LPG tank from overfilling and the refuelled LPG fuel from flowing back. The Tomasetto multivalve also has a mechanical service valve that allows the tank contents to be drained in a controlled manner during servicing or maintenance. An LPG tank sensor or tank level sensor can be mounted on the multivalve housing, which transmits the LPG tank level to the LPG fuel gauge inside the vehicle.
As standard, all AT02 multivalves have an 8 mm inlet - line from the LPG filling valve to the multivalve - and a 6 mm outlet to the LPG reducer. Multivalves with the model suffix "Extra" also have an 8mm outlet, have a higher flow rate and are suitable for powerful vehicles.
Tomasetto multivalves for toroidal internal tanks are mounted at an installation angle of 30° or 37°. The model designation of the AT02 multivalve always indicates a height, abbreviated by "H." and the installation angle as a number of degrees "30°". This information is the easiest way to find the right multivalve for your autogas tank.
