Safety instructions for ValveCare screw-in nozzle (intake manifold)
- Before installing the intake manifold, the engine must be switched off and the ignition switch turned off.
- Ensure that the surface of the intake manifold and the connection on the engine are free of dirt, oil, grease or other contaminants that could impair the seal.
- Use only the gaskets and fasteners recommended by the manufacturer and tighten them to the specified torque values.
- Regularly check the condition of the intake manifold and the gaskets for cracks, wear or other damage.
- Avoid operating the engine with a damaged or leaking intake manifold to prevent damage to the engine.
- Wear suitable protective equipment such as gloves and eye protection when installing and maintaining the intake manifold.
