Thanks to its high adhesion to metals, WD-40 is ideal for lubricating mechanisms, machines, threads, valves, but also tools such as pliers. The lubricant is easy to spread and also adheres to moving parts of mechanisms. Ultimately, it also eliminates unpleasant squeaking.
If you need to clean something quickly and efficiently, WD-40 has been the first choice for decades. Thanks to its unique composition, the lubricant penetrates under the dirt, dissolves it safely and does not bind any further dirt to itself. WD-40 is therefore ideal for removing accumulated dirt, grease, adhesive residues and adhesive materials as well as pieces of stickers, labels or adhesive tape.
WD-40 also has excellent properties as a water displacer. It creates a dielectric, i.e. insulating, gap between the metal and the liquid, which then flows in the form of beads. - Pressurised container: May burst if heated.
- Container and objects to be filled must be at room temperature during use.
- Contains mixtures of: 5-chloro-2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one [EC No. 247-500-7] and 2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one [EC No. 220-239-6] (3:1). May cause allergic reactions.
