Loctite 648 is a special professional adhesive primarily intended for bonding various components, especially cylindrical components.
Typical applications of Loctite 648 are the fastening of gears or sprockets to shafts, the fastening of rotors to shafts and the like. The curing of the product takes place in a joint without air access, preferably between metal surfaces. The joint can be up to 0.15 mm wide.
After curing, Loctite 648 is highly resistant to vibration and impact, and the joint will not crack, loosen or leak. In addition to its high strength, the adhesive is also very heat-resistant, up to +180 °C.
