Worm drive clamp 126 W2
Band and housing made of stainless steel, material no. 1.4016/UNS S43000 Hexagon head screw made of galvanised steel
Resistant: Improved surface pressure thanks to rolled, burr-free band edges (optimised band exceeds DIN standard 3017)Reliable: No damage to the hose thanks to flanged, burr-free band edges, optimum sealingUser-friendly: One size for different diameters, quick and easy installation using standard screwdrivers or torque wrenches
Clamp design
The Oetiker worm drive clamp is a technically sophisticated multi-range hose clamp with a very large Tension range. Hoses of various diameters can be securely connected with just one size.
The cold-formed bands of this clamp have a slightly convex shape. The height of the threads decreases on both sides - the full thread cross-section is in the centre.
The worm drive clamps of material quality W2 are equipped with a hexagon head screw (SW 7) with cross recess (Phillips). Clamps of material grades W3 and W4 have a hexagon head screw with slotted drive.
Installation recommendations
For professional installation, we recommend using a flexible screwdriver. This ensures secure installation even in places that are difficult to access. Electronically monitored torque screwdrivers should be used for series assembly where high process reliability is required.
