It is a liquid sealant that hardens after application. Its great advantage is its thixotropic nature, thanks to which, after application, the liquid seal remains where it was applied and does not flow. Once it hardens, it is ready for maximum load. After curing, Loctite 542 is a very strong and durable seal, so it can also be used for SP hydraulics. At the same time, it withstands temperatures up to 150 °C.
